As every school has different needs we offer a completely bespoke service for our classrooms and school buildings. We are able to accommodate any size requirements, from a single classroom to a full school.
We understand that school budgets are tight and any money saved, or earned, goes a long way to helping out. Due to this, our Eco Classrooms have been painstakingly designed to be super-efficient. By offering solar panels, we are not only able to completely power our Eco Classrooms, we are actually able to give the school money back for the extra power that is put back into the grid. Also due to high levels of insulation, clever use of materials, and a 500% efficient heat pump and air conditioning system, our Eco Classrooms are able to achieve an A+ rated EPC and a Minus Zero Carbon rating.
At Pod Developments we understand that you are busy running a school, and planning a new building can seem a little daunting.
A site visit is required for us to be able to give an accurate estimate for connections to mains services. This is because there are a number of variables which effect the price including distance to services, groundworks, and electrical capacity.
Costings can be influenced by a number of factors including size, functionality, style, groundworks, and connections to mains services. Depending on these factors prices can range from as little as £1200sqm up to £1800sqm.
We do however understand that schools are working to a strict budget and every penny counts. At Pod Living we are keen to work with schools on an individual basis to create a building that not only fits your needs but also your budget.
We believe that our classrooms are the most affordable on the market for the service and quality we provide.
To put this into perspective, the hire of a used portable cabin from a leading supplier will cost in the region of £1900 per month when taking delivery, installation, connections and servicing into account. For a comparable budget, the school could own the building after only 5 years, which will be there to use for a lifetime.
When you take into account the money returned to the school from the solar panel revenue, as well as the negligible running costs, it is the obvious solution to providing extra teaching space whilst adding value to the school.
