As we offer a bespoke service we will work closely with you on final dimensions to optimise layout options, and fit the site.
In most cases the logistics and cost of delivering the buildings in one or multiple parts is prohibitive.It is often more practical, and cost efficient, to construct the Pods on site from pre-assembled parts. A build time of approximately 20 days for one building will be needed in the scenario.
As the Living Pods are fully functioning residential buildings, and not incidental to the use of another property, a full planning application will normally be needed. The only cases where this may not be applicable, is if the Pod is used for workers on agricultural land, or the Pod will not be used for more than 28 days each year. A full planning application will take around 8 weeks from validation to approval, and a realistic budget of £1500 will be needed for this. We are able to offer a full turnkey service and deal with the planning on your behalf should you wish.
A site visit is required for us to be able to give an accurate estimate for connections to mains services. This is because there are a number of variables which effect the price including distance to services, groundworks, and electrical capacity.
